    The Hanbok --- “Korean dress” --- is just what the name suggests: Korean traditional dress. One of the most enduring images of traditional Korea are the smooth, gently rounded lines of the hanbok, which both obscures and allures. On the holidays, the nation’s train stations and bus terminals are awash in the bright colors of the hanbok as Koreans don the traditional garb to celebrate.




  • Gyeongbokgung Palace

    Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces.

    The National Palace Museum of Korea is located outside of Heungnyemun Gate, and the National Folk Museum is located on the eastern side of Hyangwonjeong Pavillion.







    - The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony
    In ancient times, the royal guards of Joseon Dynasty performed the given task by guarding the Gwanghwamun Gate, the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace where the king ruled the country. 
    Since 1469, the ceremony has taken place and its record has been consulted for the present reenactment ceremony.





  • Hanilkwan restaurant (Lunch)

    It is a store that has been operating with a long tradition since 1939. This Korean dishes restaurant is located in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The most famous menu is Bulgogi. 

    Hanilkwan has been selected as a Seoul Future Heritage Site by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and as a Bib Gourmand in Seoul by the Michelin Guide for four years since 2017.




  • Bukchon Hanok Village

    Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon dynasty. The name Bukchon, which literally translates to "northern village," came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. As Bukchon Hanok Village is an actual neighborhood with people's homes, visitors are advised to be respectful at all times while looking around.


  • Cooking class for Korean Japchae

    Korean cuisine has a rich and deep background as it’s for the history of Korea. Its significance comes from using the healthy ingredients including seasonal vegetables, fermented sauces and vegetables for the side dishes. Well known dishes such as kimchi and Korean style BBQ are popular world widely for years already. 

    Participants learn about the tasteful Korean Japchae (Stir-fried glass noodle and vegetable) are offered with opportunities to make their own recipes for the feedback from professionals. 



  • Nanta show

    NANTA is one of Korea's top performances, a show about four chefs who must prepare a wedding banquet in just one hour. The plot is depicted through various genres of performances, including percussion that uses kitchen utensils to make beats based on traditional rhythms of samulnori (traditional Korean percussion quartet). The entire show has no spoken dialogue, yet plenty of comedy and romance, too.Since its debut in October 1997, NANTA (also known as Cookin') has earned international acclaim, having been performed on Broadway and at other famous venues worldwide. 


  • La Cantina restaurant (Dinner)

    La Cantina opened in 1967 and is the oldest Italian restaurant in Seoul. It was a famous place where you could taste authentic Italian food, which was difficult to find just 20 to 30 years ago. It is made by chefs with over 20 years of experience.

    Unlike recently opened Italian restaurants, La Cantina has a classy atmosphere, and Samsung Group founder and Chairman Lee Byung-cheol used to visit often. La Cantina was selected as a Seoul Future Heritage site in recognition of its historicity.

  • DMZ Tour

    ● Imjingak Park
    Imjingak was built in 1972 with the hope that someday unification would be possible. Over 400 photos and documents showing the stark reality of North Korea are displayed in the North Korea Center of Unification Board. Outside Imjingak, there are 12 unique tanks and warcrafts on display that were used during the war.


    ● The 3rd infiltration tunnel(Dorasan Observatory)
    The 3rd Tunnel was discovered in 1978 by South Korean forces. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour. Only 44 kilometers or, less than an hours drive, from Seoul, the third tunnel was discovered in October 1978. Almost identical in structure to Tunnel Ⅱ, the 1.635 kilometer-long tunnel, 1.95 meters high and 2.1 meters wide, penetrates 435 meters south of the Military Demarcation Line at a point only 4 kilometers south of the Truce Village of Panmunjom. It runs through bedrock at a depth of about 73 meters below ground. Capable of moving a full division per hour, plus their weapons, it is evidently designed for a surprise attack on Seoul.

    ● Dora Observatory, Dorasan Station
    52 years of anticipation, waiting for the day when the two countries will be united once again. Dorasan station, the northernmost station in South Korea, has planned to connect the Gyongueisun(Line) and it will be linked to the European continent via the Siberian Railway.


  • Shimgol Jeontong Doenjang restaurant (Lunch)

    Shimgol Traditional Soybean Paste Restaurant, located in Heyri Village, is a restaurant that actually makes traditional Korean soybean paste, cooks it, and serves it to customers. The menu is based on traditional soybean paste, and the menu served can be considered a traditional Korean taste, and soy sauce boiled pork and chive pancakes are also frequently ordered by customers.


  • Experience writing Korean Calligraphy

    Korean calligraphy, also known as Seoye, is the Korean tradition of artistic writing. Calligraphy in Korean culture involves both Hanja (Chinese logograph) and Hangul (Korean native alphabet).

    Early Korean calligraphy was exclusively in Hanja, or the Chinese-based logography first used to write the Korean language. Today many calligraphers, particularly in South Korea, are experimenting with new styles of Hangul, which has become an important part of the larger practice of Korean calligraphy. Chweerimhun is located in Heyri Art Village. 


  • “All That Jazz” club (Dinner)

    Established as Korea's first jazz club in Itaewon in 1976, All that jazz has been a living witness and rock of Korean jazz for about 50 years. All that jazz is a touchstone of Korean jazz, and many jazz musicians have performed there and produced outstanding jazz musicians. Not only domestic jazz musicians but also foreign jazz musicians want to stand on this stage when they visit Korea. Additionally, it will always remain in the memories of Korean people who love jazz, and its unique atmosphere provides romance and fun.

    Namsan Seoul Tower was the first multipurpose tower to be established in Korea, effectively incorporating a sightseeing observatory to a broadcasting tower. Namsan Seoul Tower has served as an iconic landmark of Korea and a representative tourist attraction. The tower's observatory offers an unobstructed view of the whole city, allowing it to become one of the all-time favorite attractions of Seoul citizens as well as domestic and international tourists. 



  • National Museum of Korea

    The National Museum of Korea houses a vast collection of over 420,000 artifacts from ancient times to the modern era in a wide range of topics, including art and culture. The outdoor grounds feature pagodas and other stone artworks too large to be on display inside. In addition to galleries with a wide array of national and international pieces, the National Museum of Korea is a stage for a number of cultural activities related to collection, preservation, research and analysis, social training, academic publications, intercultural exchange programs, concerts, and more. 


  • Yukjeon Hoekwan restaurant (Lunch)

    Yeokjeon Hall is a restaurant that opened in 1929 and was selected as Seoul's future heritage. The specialty dish of this restaurant is crispy bulgogi. This menu is the first dish developed and served by this restaurant, and there are various menu items such as pork bossam and bibimbap. This restaurant is a cost-effective and delicious restaurant that is selected for the Michelin Bib Gourmand every year.


  • Saturday Gugak Concert

    The National Gugak Center is a centre of learning for Korean traditional music and operates in three performance halls. It aims to collect, notate and preserve a museum and library of Korea’s traditional music heritage. 

    The center has four performing groups which offer regular performances - Court Music Orchestra, Folk Music Group, Dance Theater and Contemporary Gugak Orchestra. 


  • Taking a walk the Cheonggyecheon Stream

    Cheonggyecheon Stream is an 11 km-long stream that runs through downtown Seoul. Created as part of an urban renewal project, Cheonggyecheon Stream is a restoration of the stream that was once there during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). The stream was covered with an elevated highway after the Korean War (1950-1953), as part of the country's post-war economic development. Then in 2003, the elevated highway was removed to restore the stream to its present form today. The stream starts from Cheonggye Plaza, a popular cultural arts venue, and passes under a total of 22 bridges before flowing into the Hangang River, with many attractions along the way. 


  • Gwangjang Market (Dinner)

    Gwangjang Market was the first permanent market in Korea and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today. The name Gwangjang means "to gather from afar and keep altogether." The market began as a small trading center that brought in goods from nearby regions, but has now grown into a large wholesale market selling a variety of goods, including upholstery, imported goods, groceries, dried fish, traditional goods, and more. It is also one of the most recommended tourist attraction for international travelers.
